The Virtual EDO project created a comprehensive platform for Economic Development Officers (EDOs) and communities to access resources, tools, and information related to economic development. The website serves as a go-to platform for new and experienced EDOs and communities, providing guides, mentorship opportunities, and resources to support their growth and success.
The website is securely hosted on Saltmedia’s private server on Treaty 8 in Edmonton, with back-up on Treaty 6 in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
We were honoured to support the very busy team behind the Virtual EDO project with content collection, organization, and writing. We identified all the appropriate content on the Cando website, organized it for the Virtual EDO site, and collaborated with the Cando team on headlines and summaries.
We live, work, and gather on traditional, unceded, and treaty territories of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples from coast to coast to coast. We’re committed to our collective responsibility to the original caretakers of this land and to listening, learning, and acting in ways that support reconciliation.
