For this project, we worked with the existing website. We rebranded using the new logo and colours, streamlined the shopping pages so customers could find more items on a single page, added a merchandise site, and reformatted the pages on the site to look more professional and be easier to read.
Branding was carried out through every aspect of the project – a new logo and visual brand guide, a marketing plan, a new brochure and sell sheet, social media graphics that reflected the new logo and colors, and new labels and packaging.
We worked closely with the client to develop a slogan and we used beautiful guidance from the family behind this business to write a meaningful brand story that tells how special Loakin is.
The project began with extensive market research and a Market Report and Considerations. We identified their unique selling points, and created a marketing plan that they can build on over the next few years.
We also wrote the content for a year of social media posts on both Facebook and LinkedIn, and rewrote their brochure and sell sheet to better reflect their brand and their business.
One of the highlights of the project was working together to create a slogan and brand story. This was a wonderful collaborative process.
Loakin needed a logo that told their brand story and identified them as an Indigenous business. The final result incorporated their original colours, added beading and dot work, included one of the client’s favourite herbs, and added a sweet character making the journey ‘up the hill’.
The new logo was incorporated into the website refresh, new package designs, labels, and shipping box design, and a year’s worth of social media graphics that the client can adapt for a variety of purposes. We also designed a new brochure and sell sheet, and provided the client with QR codes that will be especially helpful during her many in-person events and conferences.
